Qualified Member [Federal Elections] Law and Legal Definition
According to 11 CFR 113.1 (f) [Title 11 -- Federal Elections; Chapter I -- Federal Election Commission; Subchapter A – General; Part 113--Permitted and Prohibited Uses of Campaign Accounts], the term Qualified Member means “an individual who was serving as a Senator or Representative in, or Delegate or Resident Commissioner to, Congress, on January 8, 1980.”
