Qualified Special Disabled Veteran Law and Legal Definition
According to 41 CFR 60-250.2 [Title 41 -- Public Contracts and Property Management; Subtitle B -- Other Provisions Relating to Public Contracts; Chapter 60 -- Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Equal Employment Opportunity, Department of Labor; Part 60-250 -- Affirmative Action and Nondiscrimination Obligations of Contractors and Subcontractors Regarding Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, Recently Separated Veterans, and Other Protected Veterans; Subpart A -- Preliminary Matters, Equal Opportunity Clause], qualified special disabled veteran means a special disabled veteran who satisfies the requisite skill, experience, education and other job-related requirements of the employment position such veteran holds or desires, and who, with or without reasonable accommodation, can perform the essential functions of such position.
