Qualified Student Loan Bond Law and Legal Definition
Qualified student loan bond is a tax-exempt private activity bond issue. Ninety percent or more of the net proceeds is used to make or finance student loans under a program of general application subject to the Higher Education Act of 1965. Otherwise ninety five percent or more of the net proceeds is used to make or finance student loans under a program of general application approved by the state.
