The phrase quantum sufficit means as much as sufficient or sufficient quantity. “Prior to cross-examinations, a counsel must be possessed of quantum sufficit to make the question not unfair and not unsupportable in some manner." [People v. Sheperd, 37 Colo. App. 336, 338 (Colo. Ct. App. 1976)].
