Quesas Law and Legal Definition
Quesas is a reiteration of the Biblical principle of criminal justice of an eye for an eye and a tooth for tooth. The Muslim law categorizes crimes in accordance with the severity of respective punishments. Quesas is often described as a middle category of criminal offences. Quesas crimes are murder, manslaughter, intentional crimes against the person, such as assault and battery.
