Safe Conduct Law and Legal Definition
Safe conduct refers to the privilege granted by government in allowing a stranger or other person to travel into and through a designated area. This is also termed passport or safeguard. Safe conduct is a letter of protection by which the person of an enemy is rendered secure from violation. This letter is granted to carry on business or for any other purpose. Safe conduct does not cover goods unless otherwise stated.
