The Security and Accountability For Every Port Act of 2006 (or SAFE Port Act, Pub.L. 109-347 amends the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to establish a Domestic Nuclear Detection Office in the Department of Homeland Security and other measures to tighten security maritime and cargo security.
