Salvor Law and Legal Definition
A salvor is a person who rescues a ship, its cargo or crew from danger. A salvor usually moves a ship from the dangerous route or repairs a ship that has been destroyed in some mishap. Salvors are entitled to rewards for their efforts irrespective of whether their actions resulted in the rescue of a ship, its cargo or its crew.
