Sampler Law and Legal Definition
According to 7 CFR 29.20 (Title 7, Agriculture; Subtitle B, Regulations of The Department of Agriculture; Chapter I, Agricultural Marketing Service H1 (Standards, Inspections, Marketing Practices), Department Of Agriculture; Subchapter A, Commodity Standards And Standard Container Regulations; Part 29, Tobacco Inspection; Subpart B, Regulations; Definitions), the term “sampler” means “a person employed, licensed, or authorized by the Secretary to select, tag, and seal official samples of tobacco.” (7 CFR 29.20)
