Sanitize Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 50 CFR 14.102 [Title 50 -- Wildlife and Fisheries; Chapter I -- United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of the Interior], the term Sanitize means “to make physically clean and, as far as possible, free of toxic or infectious agents injurious to the health of wild mammals or birds.”
