School-Age Youth Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 12511 (Title 42, The Public Health and Welfare; Chapter 129, National and Community Service; National and Community Service Grant Program; General Provisions), “the term "school-age youth" means--
(A) individuals between the ages of 5 and 17, inclusive; and
(B) children with disabilities, as defined in section 602(3) of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (20 U.S.C. 1401(3)), who receive services under part B of such Act [20 USCS §§ 1411 et seq.].”
