Secondary School Year [Education] Law and Legal Definition
According to 34 CFR 654.5 (b) [Title 34 – Education; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Offices of the Department of Education; Chapter VI -- Office of Postsecondary Education, Department of Education; Part 654 -- Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program; Subpart A – General], the term secondary school year means “the period of time during which a secondary school is in session, as determined by State law.”
