Secure Correctional Facility Law and Legal Definition
Correctional Facility is a place where a person committed of an offence is confined. A juvenile adjudicated as committed an offense, or any other individual convicted of a criminal offense is usually placed in secured correctional facility.
A facility under the direction of the department of youth services designed to physically restrict the movement and activities of children are known as secure correctional facility. A correction facility is used to place children after adjudication and disposition of criminal offence.[ ORC Ann. 2151.011]
