According to 41 CFR 60-3.16 (Title 41 - Public Contracts And Property Management; Subtitle B - Other Provisions Relating To Public Contracts; Chapter 60 - Office Of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Equal Employment Opportunity, Department Of Labor; Part 60-3 - Uniform Guidelines On Employee Selection Procedures (1978) (Definitions), selection procedure means “any measure, combination of measures, or procedure used as a basis for any employment decision. Selection procedures include the full range of assessment techniques from traditional paper and pencil tests, performance tests, training programs, or probationary periods and physical, educational, and work experience requirements through informal or casual interviews and unscored application forms.”
