Self-Inspection Law and Legal Definition

A self-inspection is a rehearsal of one’s areas by either oneself or by someone belonging to the department so as to find out the existing unsafe conditions. The inspection should encompass every area that is occupied or used by members of such department on a regular basis.

Pursuant to 75 FR 707, 729 Sec. 6.1. (ll), ‘Self-inspection’ means the internal review and evaluation of individual agency activities and the agency as a whole with respect to the implementation of the program established under this order and its implementing directives.
