Services to Advocate for and Respond to Youth Grant Program [Department of Justice] Law and Legal Definition

The Services to Advocate for and Respond to Youth Grant Program is the U.S Department of Justice grant program created by the Violence Against Women Act of 2005 (VAWA 2005) that serve youth victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The program funds those projects that design and implement programs and services-using established domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking intervention models-to respond to the needs of youth who are victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking. The program also finds projects that provide direct counseling, advocacy, legal, and mental health services for children and young adults who have experienced domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
