Servitor of Bills Law and Legal Definition
Servitor of bills means a messenger of the marshal of the King’s Bench, sent out for the purpose of summoning people to court. Servitors of bills receive very little compensation for their duties. But they gain great respect out of their close familiarity with the ruling class. They are also called as a tip stave.
