Servitus Projiciendi Law and Legal Definition
Servitus projiciendi is a Latin term which means the servitude of projecting. It means a servitude permitting a projection from one’s building into the open space of a neighbor’s property. The advantage of servitus projiciendi is that, when the dominant tenement is so altered as to destroy the projection, the servitude would still exist to the extent of giving the owner of the dominant tenement a right-to have a projection elsewhere.
