Shared Parenting Law and Legal Definition
Shared parenting is a court-approved plan under which both parents agree as part of a divorce or dissolution of marriage that their child or children will live with each parent at specific times. A court will not agree to a shared parenting arrangement unless satisfied that both the parents can cooperate for the arrangement.
