SKU Law and Legal Definition
SKU is the reference number for the product. It is a unique code, consisting of numbers or letters and numbers, assigned to a product by a retailer for purposes of identification and inventory control. It may be required for a customer to reference the number from sales materials to order an item from a retailer. It stands for "stock keeping unit".
