Solomon Amendment Law and Legal Definition
The Solomon Amendment, 50 USCS Appx § 462, is a federal legislation which terminated federal contracts and student aid to colleges refusing military recruitment on their campuses. The amendment provides that any person who is required by law to submit to registration under the Military Selective Service Act, and fails to do so, will be ineligible for any form of assistance or benefit provided by the Basic Educational Opportunity Grant Program.
