Special Education Personnel Law and Legal Definition
Special Education Personnel are persons engaged in and having professional responsibility towards students with learning disabilities. They organize special education programs and services for children with special needs. Special Education Personnel includes teachers, aides, school social workers, diagnostic personnel, physical therapists, occupational therapists, audiologists, teachers of speech and language, instructional media-curriculum specialists, mobility specialists, teacher consultants, supervisors, and directors.[MCLS § 380.6]
