Special Executor Law and Legal Definition
A special executor is an executor who is charged with the responsibility of administering a portion of the decedent’s estate. Such an executor’s power is limited to a portion of the testator's estate. In some cases, the special executor administers the whole estate either for a limited period or in a particular location.
