Special Interest Caucus Law and Legal Definition
A special interest caucus is a Congressional member organization created to further the interest of a group of individuals through creation of legislation or through support or opposition of legislation. It is formed in the House of Representatives and registered with the Committee on House Administration. A special caucus discusses shared interests based on ideological beliefs, race or nationality, gender or enforcement of a particular piece of legislation.
