Special Purpose Equipment Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 605.3 [Title 10 Energy; Chapter II Department of Energy; Subchapter H Assistance Regulations; Part 605 The Office of Energy Research Financial Assistance Program], the term special purpose equipment means “equipment which is used only for research, medical, scientific, educational, or other related project activity.”
