Spectrograph Law and Legal Definition
Spectrograph is an electromagnetic instrument analyzing sound. A spectrograph is mainly used to detect human voice. Spectrograph separates a sound into three elements :
1. Frequency,
2. Time lapse,and
3.Intensity.
Spectograph helps in producing a final voiceprint. A spectrograph is mainly used for voice identification.[ United States v. Drones, 218 F.3d 496 (5th Cir. Tex. 2000)]. Spectrograph is also known as polychromator.
