Star Chamber proceedings refer any judicial or quasi-judicial action, trial or hearing that violates standards of due process that a party appearing in the proceedings is denied. In a star chamber proceeding a fair hearing and justice cannot be expected. Judgments in Star Chamber proceedings will be high-handed, unfair, and predetermined.
