According to 11 CFR 113.1[Title 11 Federal Elections; Chapter I Federal Election Commission; Subchapter A General;Part 113 Permitted And Prohibited Uses Of Campaign Accounts] State officeholder means “an individual elected to or serving in any elected public office within a State of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or any subdivision thereof.”
