Stickup Law and Legal Definition
Stickup is an armed robbery in which the victim is threatened by the use of weapons. It is a criminal offense. It is also known as holdup. Robbery by holding up a person to the point of a gun may be referred to as a stickup. A more modern work defines stickup, informal, as to rob especially at gunpoint, and stick-up, slang, as a robbery, especially at gunpoint. [Berry v. State, 288 So. 2d 457 (Miss. 1974)].
