Stop Buy Order Law and Legal Definition
Stop buy order is an order to buy a security or commodity as soon as it reaches the trigger price. In a stop buy order a broker is instructed to buy a commodity or security when its price reaches a certain level. At times, these orders are computerized to occur automatically at the designated price.
