Story Analyst Law and Legal Definition
Story analyst is a person employed by a studio or producer to read submitted scripts and properties. They have to synopsize and evaluate the scripts read by them. Usually story analysts are young literature or film school graduates who are not that knowledgeable about filmmaking and have less experience in the field. But there can be good ones too, and they help to get an idea of the script to the main participants in the making of a film.
