Strip Zone Law and Legal Definition
Strip Zone is a long, narrow property usage zone, usually commercial, found along highways or other major thoroughfares. Strip zones may measure no more than a lot deep and are not recommended by zoning experts who claim strip zones are a reflex zoning response to a situation and an invitation to later deterioration of the area.
