Submitter [Aeronautics and Space] Law and Legal Definition
According to 14 CFR 1206.101 (q) [Title 14 Aeronautics and Space; Chapter V National Aeronautics and Space Administration; Part 1206 Availability of Agency Records to Members of the Public; Subpart 1 Basic Policy], the term submitter means “a person or entity that is the source of commercial information in the possession of NASA. The term submitter includes, but is not limited to, corporations, state governments, and foreign governments. It does not include other Federal Government agencies or departments.”
