Substitute Judge Law and Legal Definition
Substitute Judge is the designation given to a lawyer who is authorized to conduct the activities of a court when the regular judge of a general district court or the judge of a juvenile and domestic relations district court is absent from their office. A substitute judge will be paid in the same manner and at the same rate as the incumbent judges.
