Successive Sentences Law and Legal Definition
In criminal law, the imposition of the penalty for each of several crimes, one after the other is called successive sentence. Whereas, in concurrent sentence, as compared to concurrent sentences the imposition of the penalty for each of several crimes may be served at the same time.
