System Notice Law and Legal Definition
According to 43 CFR 2.46 (Title 43 - Public Lands: Interior; Subtitle A - Office Of The Secretary Of The Interior; Part 2 - Records And Testimony; Freedom Of Information Act; Subpart G - Privacy Act), system notice means “the notice describing a system of records required by 5 U.S.C. 552a(e)(4) to be published in the FEDERAL REGISTER upon establishment or revision of the system of records.”
