Underground Economy Law and Legal Definition
Underground economy refers to all legitimate and illegitimate activities aimed at money making that are not reported to the government. Non payment of taxes and evading from government prescribed fees over certain actions comes under underground economics. Similarly, illegal activities such as drug trafficking and prostitution are also part of underground economy.
