Underwater Radiography Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 34.3 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 34 -- Licenses for Industrial Radiography and Radiation Safety; Requirements for Industrial Radiographic Operations; Subpart A -- General Provisions], the term underwater radiography means “industrial radiography performed when the radiographic exposure device and/or related equipment are beneath the surface of the water.”
