Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees - UCFE Law and Legal Definition
The Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE) program is a supplemental extended compensation scheme payable to former Federal employees under 5 USCS prec § 8501 during periods of high unemployment. The UCFE program is administered by the U.S. state governments on behalf of the U.S. Federal government. The terms and conditions of the UCFE is equivalent to regular State Unemployment Insurance schemes.
