United States Disciplinary Barracks Law and Legal Definition
United States Disciplinary Barracks (USDB) is a place of confinement for military prisoners who are serving sentences such as punitive discharges or who have sentences that are more than six months with no punitive discharges. The USDB provides academic and vocational training for prisoners. USDB is popularly known as Leavenworth, the DB, or the Castle.
