Unsatisfied Judgment Fund Law and Legal Definition
An unsatisfied judgment fund is a state fund. Its purpose is to compensate individuals for any losses sustained from an automobile accident caused by an uninsured or under insured motorist, or an insolvent. Such funds are normally financed by an addition to the regular automobile registration fee. Unsatisfied judgments are paid only up to fixed limits.
