Vadimony Law and Legal Definition
In Roman law, the term Vadimony refers to a guarantee that a litigant would appear in court. This guarantee would be originally backed by sureties. It is a solemn promise to the effect that appearance of litigant in court is guaranteed. Vadimony is also termed as vadimonium.
