According to 34 CFR 690.2 (c) [Title 34 – Education; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Offices of the Department of Education; Chapter VI -- Office of Postsecondary Education, Department of Education; Part 690 -- Federal Pell Grant Program; Subpart A -- Scope, Purpose and General Definition], the term valid Institutional Student Information Record (valid ISIR) means “an ISIR on which all the information used in calculating the applicant's expected family contribution is accurate and complete as of the date the application is signed.”
