Vending (Copyright) Law and Legal Definition
Vending in copyright law is an expression to one's opinions. It means to offer an idea for public consideration. It is a right secured by the Federal copyright law which does not differ from the right to vend secured by the Federal patent law, it being in both instances the intention of Congress to provide an exclusive right to sell. [Bauer & Cie v. O'Donnell, 229 U.S. 1 (U.S. 1913)]
