Verification of a Trademark Law and Legal Definition
Verification of a trademark can be made by an affidavit. Such an affidavit is required on many submissions to U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in which the person declares that the statements made in the affidavit are true and accurate. In certain instances, a declaration can be used instead of verification.
