Very Heavy Work Law and Legal Definition
Under 20 CFR 416.967(e) very heavy work is defined as “work which involves lifting objects weighing more than 100 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more.” A person who can do very heavy work is deemed to do heavy, medium, light, and sedentary work.
