Vested Estate Law and Legal Definition
Vested estate is an absolute, unconditional, and indefeasible interest. It is an estate which is not contingent or expectant. Vested estate carry a fixed right of present or future enjoyment. It gives a certain and fixed right of present or future enjoyment; that is, an interest clothed with a present legal and existing right of alienation. An estate is vested in possession when there exists a right of present enjoyment, and vested in interest when there is a present right of future enjoyment.
