Virgin Material [Public Health] Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 6903 [Title 42. The Public Health and Welfare; Chapter 82. Solid Waste Disposal; General Provisions], the term "virgin material" means a raw material, including previously unused copper, aluminum, lead, zinc, iron, or other metal or metal ore, any undeveloped resource that is, or with new technology will become, a source of raw materials.
