Vision coverage is a type of insurance plan typically offered only on a group basis to ensure coverage for the services rendered by eye care professionals such as ophthalmologists and optometrists. It provides yearly coverage for routine eye examinations and which may also cover all or part of the costs associated with contact lenses or eyeglasses, and sun glasses depending upon the plan chosen.
