Visitor Visa Law and Legal Definition
Visitor visa is a kind of nonimmigrant visa for persons desiring to enter the Country temporarily for business or for pleasure, tourism, or medical treatment.
The following is an example of a case law on visitor visa:
A visitor for pleasure is defined in the Act as an alien (other than one coming for the purpose of performing labor) who is visiting the U.S. temporarily for pleasure. An alien intending to become employed in the U.S. is precluded from obtaining the U.S. visitor visa. [Londono v. Immigration & Naturalization Service, 433 F.2d 635 (2d Cir. 1970)].
